I just saw the above quote on Facebook. It was somebody's status and it made a whole lot of sense to me. I've felt this way for a long time now. I've lost so many friends to distance and over time. The few I have right now are not even as close; somethings are just different. I don't even have new friends like that and the few new ones I have can't take the place of the old. Even though I'm lonely and all-alone right now, my friends are ALWAYS in my heart. I hope the day comes soon when we can pick up our friendships right where we left off. For now, the light of your memories is, and will remain, on in my heart; I hope you find your way back to my door, heart and life. Until then, STAY BEAUTIFUL.

ha, i swear we're similar in some way. i lose friends all the time; they just come & go. i used to worry about it but one day i kinda stopped; if it's meant to be then--like the quote reads--you can pick it right back.
