Day 17 - A Book I've Read That Changed My Views on Something

If you know anything at all about me, you'll know how much I love to read. I've read too many books to count or remember.

The only book that stands out to me right now is titled "Pearl Moon" by Katherine Stone. I read this book in 2007 or 2006; I'm not sure. My friend, and partner in reading, Damilola Oduyebo let me read this book. I'm happy she did.

"Pearl Moon" changed my views on the country Hong Kong. Hong Kong is not a country I paid any attention or even thought. "Pearl Moon" describes Hong Kong in such a beautiful and stunning light, that it is currently on the list of countries I want to visit someday. Sometime in July, somebody asked me that if I had a chance to visit a country by myself soon, where would I go? I said Italy at first, but quickly realized Italy is not a country I want to visit alone and I corrected myself and said Hong Kong. "Pearl Moon" has made me visualize Hong Kong differently and I want to visit someday; hopefully my visit confirms my new view of the country.
